Supporting Hampshire's Children & Young People's Voluntary Sector

The Alliance is a network of children and young people’s voluntary sector organisations operating in Hampshire.

The Alliance fosters a collaborative approach to sharing information, knowledge and expertise in order to enhance sector capacity, improve service delivery and maximise the impact of the sector. 
 

Informing

The Alliance receives, processes and circulates 'value added' information, enabling the voluntary sector to reach an informed view of strategic and policy issues, and to respond to any challenges and opportunities which these may present. 

Enabling 

The Alliance provides a focused channel for communication across the children and young people's voluntary sector and between the sector and its Hampshire Children's Trust partners.  
 
This enables The Alliance to promote, enable and support effective partnership working both within the children and young people's voluntary sector and with our public sector partners. 
  
Partnership working is enhanced by a network of Alliance representatives who sit on key Hampshire Children's Trust partnerships and on the evolving Local Children's Partnerships.  This enables the sector to inform and influence the future planning and delivery of services for children and young people in the county.
 

Building capacity

The Alliance strives to make affordable, quality training available to the children and young people's voluntary sector.  This builds organisational capacity through staff development and contributes to the development of an integrated children’s workforce in Hampshire.
