At a local level The Alliance is a recognised and increasingly used interface between the children and young people's voluntary sector and Hampshire Children's Trust partners. The Alliance supports Hampshire Children’s Trust Partners to consult effectively with the children and young people's voluntary sector by arranging, marketing and facilitating voluntary sector-specific consultation events.

Hampshire Children & Young People's Plan 2012-15

Hampshire's Children and Young People's Plan sets out how the Children's Trust will improve outcomes for all children and young people within the county. A new Plan will be launched in 2012 and consultation on the priorities and supporting activities is currently taking place.

Cross-government definition of domestic violence

This consultation seeks views on whether broadening the definition would help provide greater protection and support to victims.

The consultation seeks views on three areas:

• whether the current cross-government definition of domestic violence introduced in 2004 is working and should remain
• whether 'coercive control' should be reflected in the definition
• whether the definition of domestic violence should include younger victims below 18 years of age
