Sub-contracting opportunity

To deliver a programme of training that will contribute to the skills base of voluntary organisations working with young people in Hampshire.

Hampshire Voluntary Sector Children & Young People’s Alliance (The Alliance) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced not-for-profit sector training providers to deliver a programme of training that will contribute to the skills base of voluntary organisations working with young people in Hampshire.
 
Key criteria
Prospective providers will be expected to meet the following key criteria:

  • be able to deliver all elements of the programme of training detailed in the specification/training plan;
  • be an accredited assessment centre for the delivery of the QCF Level II Qualification in Youth Work and the ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management; 
  • be able to meet the requirements of the Quality Assurance Process
  • be able to deliver training at a number of locations throughout the east and west of Hampshire. 

Contract duration
The expected term of the contract will be June 2012 to March 2014.

Contract value
The total contract value is in the region of £19,000.

Assessment criteria
The contract to deliver the programme of training will be awarded on the basis of the application form and a possible interview.

Supporting documents
Prospective providers will be required to provide an outline of how they will deliver and assess the non-accredited elements of the programme of training.

References will be sought to evidence track record of training delivery.

Closing date
The closing date for submission of completed applications is Friday, 25 May 2012.  Interviews may be held in the week commencing 11 June 2012.
