Local Children's Partnerships

Local Childrens Partnerships (LCPs) are the ‘delivery arm of Hampshire Childrens Trust at a local level. They are responsible for implementing the priorities of Hampshires Children and Young Peoples Plan (CYPP) through the development and implementation of LCP delivery plans.

Members of LCPs retain accountability to their existing governance and management arrangements; coming together to agree common priorities and action to improve outcomes for local children and young people.

Details of membership of LCPs (which are grouped under the geographical areas of Western Hampshire, South East Hampshire and North and East Hampshire), including voluntary sector representatives, can be found at

Where does your service fit on the chart?

Hampshire Childrens Trust Thresholds Chart

The majority of children and young people have a number of basic needs supported by their families and a range of universal services.

Some children, whilst continuing to be supported through universal services, will have additional, more complex, or acute needs. These children require swift and easy access to a range of more targeted or specialist services.

The Hampshire Childrens Trust thresholds Chart is designed to compliment the former Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) model of the ‘Windscreen of Needs, to support more integrated working across a continuum of need. It illustrates access and assessment pathways matching needs and services along this continuum.
